Learning Internet since Primary School
There are pros and cons about whether students must learning internet since they are on primary school or not. On the one side, teacher must teaches students a new things, included technology which keep develop on. Furthermore, in this term technology cannot be separated from the life of human being, except for uncivilized society like traditionally tribe, etc. Nowadays, communication technology like phone, mobile phone, and television become the primary necessary for the urban society. even
for the village society, nowadays many of them have a tertiary neccesarry.
And today Internet become one of the technology edge which occurs highest development of user, also become new necessary for us, because with internet we can quickly get information or data we need/wanted, quickly send a message, and even find a new friend is able from internet, we can acces anywhere, anytime, 24 hours non stop. So, today because of those reasons, a number of primary school in our country began taught internet, especially a primary school at a city. Those school mostly reason that technology especially internet must learn since early because demand of era.
But on the other side, there are many negative side of taught internet in primary school. First, internet acces is expensive, if the schools wanted to set an internet connection in the school, the government should spend a calculation more for education fee,
second, the primary school students is still in the play age, the age which the proper time for learn basic skills, if they have to learn internet on their age, the time for them to learn basic skill will taken in front of computer, furthermore most of them in their age still don't know which properly or not for them, the use of internet will sensitive abuse by them, if that happen of course that will become the big problem, and there are still many other negative effects.
From those argument I conclude that internet education at primary school is not yet properly, because they should learn the basic skills first before they learn special skill.
